Explore the Manali Kasol Group Tour From Surat

The Manali Kasol Group Tour Package From Surat is a 6-day, 5-night group holiday that connects Gujarat's diamond city to the snow country of Himachal Pradesh. It is the longest route in this series, covering roughly 1,600 km via Delhi, yet the design keeps it effortless: an overnight train from Surat to Delhi, an overnight AC Volvo/vehicle to Manali, and three full days of sightseeing across Manali, Solang Valley, Kullu, Kasol and Manikaran before the return.

For travellers from Surat and the surrounding belt of Navsari, Bharuch, Vapi and Valsad, this Surat to Manali Kasol Tour Package replaces a complicated multi-state booking chain with one reservation that covers trains, Volvo transfers, 2 nights of hotel stay in Manali, breakfast and dinner, and every sightseeing transfer in between.

The Long Ride North, Handled for You

Surat sits farther from the Himalayas than almost any other departure city on this circuit, and that is precisely why the group format earns its keep here. Both marathon stretches, Surat to Delhi and Delhi to Manali, run overnight, so the distance is absorbed in sleep rather than lost sightseeing hours.

Leaving the Tapi riverfront and the hum of the textile markets behind, travellers cross half the country and wake to a completely different India: cold air, cedar slopes and the white line of the Pir Panjal on the horizon.

Manali Day One: Heritage, Riverside Greens and Mall Road Evenings

The mountain chapter opens with hotel check-in, a freshen-up and breakfast. The group then takes on Manali's signature circuit, starting at Hadimba Temple, the 16th-century wooden shrine standing in a hushed deodar grove. Van Vihar follows with its easy riverside walking paths along the Beas, and the Tibetan Monastery adds prayer wheels, murals and handicraft stalls to the day.

Evening belongs to Manali Mall Road, where woollen shops, food stalls and cafes stay lively well past dark. Dinner at the hotel closes the day.

Manali Day Two: Solang Valley Action and a Vashisht Soak

The second sightseeing day heads for Solang Valley, where paragliding, ropeway rides and zorbing run through the warm months and snow sports take over in winter. The drive continues through the Atal Tunnel when accessible, and Rohtang Pass can be added at extra cost, subject to permits and weather.

On the way back, the group stops at Vashisht Temple, whose natural sulphuric hot springs have served as communal baths for generations. The mineral-rich water, considered good for skin and hair, is especially welcome after a chilly valley day. Dinner and the second Manali night follow.

The Farewell Stretch: Kullu, Kasol and Manikaran

After breakfast and checkout, the route traces the Beas to the Kullu rafting point and Vaishno Temple, then climbs into the Parvati Valley. Kasol Market, the riverside village known as the mini-Israel of India, offers cafes, souvenirs and postcard mountain views.

The final stop is Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, where hot springs steam beside the icy Parvati river and the group shares dinner at the langar. The overnight drive to Delhi and the morning train complete the loop back to Surat.

Surat to Manali Distance and Why Group Travel Wins Here

The Surat to Manali distance runs close to 1,600 km via Delhi, with no direct train or flight between the two cities. Booked independently, the journey means coordinating a long-distance train, a Volvo seat, hotels and sightseeing taxis across Gujarat, Delhi and Himachal Pradesh.

The group package folds all of it into one price and one itinerary, and the fixed overnight schedule guarantees that even at this distance, travellers still get three complete days in the mountains.

Manali Weather, Temperature and Snowfall for Gujarat Travellers

The contrast with coastal Gujarat could not be sharper. While Surat stays warm and humid most of the year, the Manali temperature ranges between roughly 10°C and 25°C from March to June, and Manali weather turns crisp and clear through October and November. Manali snowfall arrives from December to February, converting Solang Valley into a snowfield, often the first snow many Gujarat travellers ever touch.

Atal Tunnel and Rohtang Pass access depends on the day's weather and road conditions.

Choosing Your Season for This Manali Trip

Summer departures offer relief from Surat's humidity and full access to rafting and valley activities. Winter departures deliver the snow experience. Kasol and Manikaran stay reachable through most of the year, keeping this manali tour package a year-round option from South Gujarat.

Why Surat Travellers Choose This Package

  • Direct group departure from Surat, no self-arranged travel to Delhi needed
  • The full 1,600 km route managed end to end in one booking
  • Overnight journeys both ways protect every sightseeing day
  • Four Himachal Pradesh destinations, Manali, Solang, Kullu and Kasol, in one circuit
  • 2 hotel nights with meals keep the package cost-effective despite the distance
  • Serves the wider South Gujarat belt from Vapi to Bharuch
  • Fixed departures welcome friends, families, couples and solo joiners

The Manali Kasol Group Tour Package From Surat proves that even Gujarat's southern coast is only two comfortable nights away from the Himalayas. With Hadimba Temple and Mall Road, the adventure fields of Solang Valley, the hot springs of Vashisht and the riverside spirit of Kasol and Manikaran packed into six planned days, the tour sends every traveller home with wonderful memories of the Himalayas.

A family group tour package starting from the Delhi hub typically ranges between ₹28,000 and ₹38,000 total for a family of four on a multi-sharing basis. This budget covers standard Volvo transportation, family-friendly hotel rooms, local sightseeing transfers in a dedicated cab, and half-board meals (breakfast and dinner). Connecting travel from Surat is budgeted additionally.

Yes, Kinghills Travels offers end-to-end customization that includes booking flights from Surat International Airport (STV) to New Delhi or Chandigarh Airport. Their backend team manages the flight alignments so that your arrival coincides perfectly with the group's central assembly times for the Volvo coach or private traveler vehicle heading to Himachal.

For a complete 7-day round-trip from Gujarat, an individual should budget roughly ₹14,000 to ₹22,000. This comfortably accommodates a mid-range Kinghills Travels package, return train or economy flight tickets to Delhi, local adventure activity costs (such as paragliding or river rafting), shopping on Mall Road, and meals during transit days.

The straight-line aerial distance between Surat and the nearest regional airport at Bhuntar (Kullu-Manali) is approximately 1,220 km. However, because there are no commercial non-stop flights on this route, travelers typically fly from Surat to New Delhi or Chandigarh and cover the remaining mountain stretch via highway vehicles.

Yes, visiting Rohtang Pass is generally safe for active senior citizens, provided they acclimatize properly in Manali town first. Because the pass sits at a high altitude of over 13,000 feet, individuals with chronic respiratory or blood pressure concerns should consult a doctor before ascending. Kinghills Travels ensures comfortable, enclosed local vehicles are utilized for these high-altitude sightseeing days.

The optimal months for adventure sports like paragliding and river rafting are March to June and October to November, when the skies are clear, and wind patterns are highly stable. The activity is strictly suspended during the monsoon months of July to September due to heavy rainfall and high safety risks in the Solang Valley region.

This popular itinerary starts with a morning flight from Surat to Delhi, arriving by afternoon. Travelers have a few hours to rest or explore local markets before joining the Kinghills Travels assembly point in the evening. The luxury Volvo departs around 8:30 PM, arriving in Manali the next morning to start 4 full days of exploration across Manali, Solang, Kasol, and Manikaran before returning via the same loop.
