Begin the Journey from Delhi
The trip starts with an evening departure from Delhi towards Manali by AC Volvo/vehicle. The Delhi to Manali distance is around 530 to 540 km, and the overnight road journey covers it while you rest. As the vehicle climbs into the hills, cool mountain air replaces the need for air conditioning.
Because the package starts and ends in Delhi, it also works well for travellers arriving from other cities. You can reach Delhi by train or flight, join the group tour, and board your onward train home after the trip ends.
Manali Local Sightseeing with Temples, Monastery and Mall Road
On reaching Manali, the group checks in to the hotel, freshens up and has breakfast before heading out. The first stop is Hadimba Temple, the iconic wooden pagoda-style shrine set among tall deodar trees. Next comes Van Vihar, a peaceful nature park along the Beas river, followed by the Tibetan Monastery with its prayer wheels, murals and handicraft shops.
The evening is free for Manali Mall Road, the liveliest stretch in town for shopping, street food and cafes. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay in Manali.
Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Vashisht Hot Springs
After breakfast, the group heads to Solang Valley, the adventure playground of Manali known for paragliding, ropeway rides, zorbing and snow activities in winter. The drive continues through the Atal Tunnel, subject to accessibility, one of the world's longest highway tunnels above 10,000 feet. Rohtang Pass can be added separately at extra cost when weather and permits allow.
The day also covers Vashisht Temple and its hot springs. The water here is naturally sulphuric and is traditionally considered good for skin and hair, making it a relaxing stop before returning to the hotel for dinner.
Kullu and Kasol with Rafting, Markets and Manikaran
On the final sightseeing day, the group checks out after breakfast and drives towards Kullu, stopping at the Kullu rafting point and Vaishno Temple. From Kullu, the road enters the Parvati Valley towards Kasol.
Kasol Market, popularly called the mini-Israel of India, is known for its riverside cafes, woollens and relaxed vibe. The last stop is Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, famous for its holy hot springs, where the group enjoys dinner at the langar before departing overnight for Delhi.
Why Start Your Manali Trip from Delhi?
Delhi is the most practical gateway for a Manali trip. Volvo and AC vehicle services run daily, the overnight timing saves hotel costs, and travellers from cities across India can connect easily through Delhi's railway stations and airport.
For anyone searching for a Manali tour package that fits into 5 days, this route is hard to beat. The itinerary uses both travel nights for the road journey, leaving three full days for Manali, Solang Valley, Kullu and Kasol.

From December to February, temperatures often drop below zero and Manali snowfall blankets Solang Valley and the higher slopes, drawing travellers who want a snow holiday.
High-altitude access depends on conditions, so the Atal Tunnel and Rohtang Pass remain subject to accessibility on the day of travel.
Best Time to Visit Manali and Kasol
Summer months suit valley exploration, rafting and outdoor activities, while winter is best for snow lovers. Kasol and Manikaran stay accessible through most of the year, so this Delhi to Manali Kasol tour works as a year-round option, whether for a summer escape or a winter snow trip.

Frequently Asked Questions about Manali Kasol Tour Package From Delhi
The starting price for a Delhi to Manali Kasol group tour package ranges between ₹5,500 and ₹7,999 per person. Since Delhi serves as the primary hub for semi-sleeper and luxury AC Volvo buses heading to Himachal Pradesh, this direct package eliminates additional connecting flights or rail expenses, offering the maximum value for budget groups, couples, and solo travelers.
Kinghills Travels coordinates its primary group passenger pickups from major transit hubs in Delhi, typically Majnu ka Tilla (near Vidhan Sabha Metro Station) or Kashmiri Gate ISBT. Passengers receive precise live tracking coordinates, coach numbers, and the coordinator’s contact information via WhatsApp a few hours prior to the evening departure time.
Yes, traveling via an overnight luxury Volvo AC bus from Delhi to Manali is highly safe and remains the most popular transportation choice. The route is serviced by experienced, professional high-altitude drivers who navigate the terrain daily, while the modern multi-axle air-suspension coaches provide safety, stability, and comfort throughout the winding mountain climbs.
The road distance from Delhi to Kasol is approximately 520 km, and the trip takes about 12 to 14 hours, depending on traffic conditions and road construction updates along the Chandigarh-Manali highway. The route standardly follows the NH 44 corridor up to Punjab before turning into the hills via Kiratpur Sahib and Bilaspur.
A standard weekend itinerary requires taking an overnight bus on Thursday evening to arrive in Manali on Friday morning. The structure covers exploring Solang Valley and Old Manali on Friday, transferring to Kasol on Saturday morning for a trek to Chalal and cafe-hopping, spending Sunday morning visiting Manikaran Sahib, and boarding the returning evening Volvo to arrive back in Delhi by Monday morning.
A comprehensive 4-day itinerary packaged for a traveler out of Delhi typically runs between ₹6,000 and ₹8,500. This includes your round-trip Volvo transportation, standard stay accommodations in mountain properties, local sightseeing transfers via private or shared cabs, and daily breakfasts and dinners at the hotels.
Yes, Rohtang Pass can be added to the itinerary, provided the travel window falls within the operational months (typically May to November), and appropriate National Green Tribunal (NGT) permits are secured. Because permits are highly limited per day, Kinghills Travels coordinates with travelers well in advance to arrange local Himachal-registered vehicles to go up the pass.
For group tours and budget travelers, a luxury AC Volvo bus is the superior option because it minimizes individual costs and offers much better legroom and comfort over long hours compared to small cars. A private car or SUV is preferred only if you seek an entirely customized itinerary with personal flexibility for impromptu roadside stops along the route.
The core package inclusions consist of round-trip AC Volvo transportation from Delhi, cozy hotel accommodations in Manali, premium riverside camping or hotel options in Kasol, dedicated local cabs for sightseeing points, guided walks to Chalal village, entry permits where applicable, and a meal plan covering daily breakfasts and dinners.
Snow availability is heavily seasonal. Delhi tourists seeking fresh snow blankets should plan their trips between late December and early March, during which Solang Valley and Mall Road often receive direct snowfall. For summer travel from April to July, snow can generally be found only at higher altitudes like Rohtang Pass or the Atal Tunnel area.
